Coffee and Rain

Today I work from the lap top which is such a big DON’T DO IT when editing pictures.But what do you do when your big expensive computer turns into an expensive digital frame since your sweet bright eyed son was curious.. What is that stuff I see mom slurping on all day? That stuff doesn’t leave her hands.. I must have it. I don’t blame him though. I need to learn to control my addiction and keep the coffee away from the pricy toys. Now the keys don't move on the keyboard. It’s like pushing on solid week old cookies. Not that the lap top is much better. I have one of those built in mouse pads that move you all over the place while you are trying to type. So that brought me to a nature hunt in my yard. I have to say one of my favorite conditions to shoot in is right after it rains. Everything is so rich in color and shiny. It’s like god pulled out his finest paint brushes and went to work.  Just remember to focus on your white balance because overcast days like this one can give off a weird color cast to your pictures.
