Today I work from the lap top which is such a big DON’T DO IT when editing pictures. But what do you do when your big expensive computer turns into an expensive digital frame since your sweet bright eyed son was curious.. What is that stuff I see mom slurping on all day? That stuff doesn’t leave her hands.. I must have it. I don’t blame him though. I need to learn to control my addiction and keep the coffee away from the pricy toys. Now the keys don't move on the keyboard. It’s like pushing on solid week old cookies. Not that the lap top is much better. I have one of those built in mouse pads that move you all over the place while you are trying to type. So that brought me to a nature hunt in my yard. I have to say one of my favorite conditions to shoot in is right after it rains. Everything is so rich in color and shiny. It’s like god pulled out his finest paint brushes and went to work. Just remember to focus on your white balance because overcast days like this one can give off a weird color cast to your pictures. Happy shooting!

Precious Moments
My baby boy cut his very first tooth on mothers day. A present I will cherish always. Next week he will be nine months old with a tooth... where does the time go? I will do everything in my power to protect that tooth with daily brushes and healthy meals to help it grow strong. He looks so silly with that one little tooth and his wide gummy grin. These moments are so precious and rare that I am glad for my trusty camera to capture it so we will never forget Sammys silly grin.

Eddie steps out into the world
Seniors are always so excited about the future ahead of them. They always have such a great outlook on life and enjoy the small things like free dishes from aunt Lisa or the idea of eating pizza every night because Mom isn't there to tell them no. Eddie plans to go to Wright State University to be an Architect. Good luck Eddie!
What a great smile!

Play Ball
Monday was perfect for being outdoors so when we got a call to see the first blueclaw game of the season we jumped at the opportunity. Did I mention this is my nephews game. Poor guy had about 6 of us screaming our heads off like he was Alex Rodriguez. Although if you ask me Alex has nothing on these little guys.

Jumping bean Lola
Say hello to Lola. This very energetic little girl had me running all over the place playing top model. She has a smile made of sunshine and a laugh that comes from the belly for every silly joke she has to tell you. She twirls, dances and squeals with glee as she throws her arms in the air and declares this is the best day ever. For a brief second I believe she is complete magic as she leans in with flecks of light dancing in her eyes and whispers we can be best friends if you want. She has no cares, no worries, and certainly no interest in politics. We try to teach our children all about life and in return they teach us how to live.
