Glen Helen Wedding : John + Shelley

John and Shelley first met while working together in Nashville. "It was my first real 'video gig,' so I had a lot of questions for John, who just happened to be sitting across from me. He had a great sense of humor, and didn't mind answering even the most basic questions," Shelley explains.

From that moment they grew into the best of  friends, spending all their spare time together. It wasn't long before John decided friendship just wasn't enough. With a little courage he took a leap of faith "I really really like you." John admitted.  Floored, Shelley exclaimed, "I had no idea you felt that way!"

Their paths intersected during work and as life ushered them into a new arena on a perfect day in Glen Helen Yellow Springs , Shelley and John are assured their love and that they are meant to be. Forever.

John and Shelley, you both are such humble and inspiring people and I honestly look up to you in all that you do! Thank you so much for allowing us to document your love story. We were so honored to be a part of your special day!

I just love her smile in our first reveal!

Shelley found her hair piece at a local art dealer in Nashville and it suits her!

I just want to thank these ladies for putting up with my wild ideas and crazy cat calls!

We drove about 15 minutes down the road where Shelley found this beautiful sunflower patch! Matt took the image of the sunflower and it is one of my favorites!
Matt took these of the ceremony as well and I thought they turned out amazing!

These conversation pieces were a huge hit!

So I should probably admit now that photographing a wedding where the groom and a few of his groomsmen are photographers is pretty intimidating! Okay that may have been an understatement. But who says photographers can't look just as good infont of the camera, these guys rocked!

Shelley and John, you took my breath away!

A preview of the celebration!

CENTRAL STATE WEDDING : KRISTOPHER + KIMBER

Our story begins in 2009, when Kristopher saw Kimber at a party. Kristopher came off genuine and sincere, so Kimber decided she would get to know him better. What they discovered was that they went to the same church and knew many of the same people. All it took was one glance and a little curiosity, which led to this, the day they exchanged vows and promised always and forever.

Stunning, was the word on everyone's lips. Everywhere you turned , you heard someone admire her and say the word "stunning." And my, she did look so stunning! As I watch the two of them together. Kristopher weakens with one look at her radiant smile and I wanted to swoon with him. In fact, I'm sure everyone attending their Central State wedding last Saturday were absolutely enamored with this wonderful couple. Kristopher's clever humor and Kimber's humble beauty made it so you couldn't tear your eyes away from the love story that was only just beginning that day.

Kimber and Kristopher, I adore you both! Thank you for letting me document your love story and being a part of your special day.

Kimber you looked simply amazing, your smile shows the light inside and that is a beautiful thing!

Kristopher, you and your guys were so great to work with! Big thanks to all of you!

Kristophers first look at his bride, I just love his big smile!

I love when couples are able to incorporate old family traditions, here they are jumping the broom!

Kimber and Kristopher, thank you for trusting me with locations, I hope you think they turned out as well as I did. Although I am pretty sure you guys could make anything look good!

The first Dance, Kristopher was very smooth. I just love the expressions he got out of his beautiful bride from all the spinning and dips!

Instead of doing one big cake Kristopher and Kimber decided to decorate each table with their own cake. Each cake had a unique flavor so guests could travel to other tables and sample while mingling with other guests. Great ice breaker!

The DJ Derek Hall did an amazing job of keeping the party going all night.
The reception was a blast, this group really knows how to celebrate!
We were able to get this shot right before we left and it is one of my favorites!
