Chris and Theresa engaged (Dayton Ohio Wedding Photographer)

In starting this blog, I have to be honest and admit Iwas nervous doing an engagement session in the middle of winter with lots of snow and ice on the ground. Now that I've made this confession, let me tell you an engagement session in the middle of January ROCKS when you have Theresa and Chris to hang out with. Theresa and Chris, you brought not only fierce to the table but also a bunch of silly stories that had me a little concerned with camera shake because of all the laughter.
Their love story...
Chris and Theresa both went to Wright State University, but this isn't how they actually met. Even with Chris being notoriously known on campus for being the guy who invinted shopping cart bob sledding (I know, how could you miss that guy?), and Theresa with those fierce blue eyes that stop you dead in your tracks. No, they actually met down the road at a place called Tuty's. Theresa tells me they hit it off right away; they had so much in common and, with how much her family loves Chris, she just knew he was the guy for her. Chris felt the same way which is why he got down on one knee and asked her to make it forever with this amazing ring.

Chris - "Don't laugh Theresa" well apparently Theresa = Rebel.

They are so cute together, I could seriously do this all day with their kind of chemistry!
Don't hate, I could not resist with this set.
Theresa has fierce down, or as Chris likes to call it "Eye of the Tiger."

I have to give you some serious props on your taste Chris! Now lets show you what these two love birds are like when the gloves come on.

If I ever start a snowball fight team, (which I am seriously considering) Chris and Theresa will be my first set of recruits.  If you would like to join the snowball team just leave your info in the comments below.
Did I mention all of these images were taken in their home town. It is a little place with a lot of charm!
Chris and Theresa thank you so much for a wonderful January session.  Also if you ever get that sled team going again count me in.

Ringing in the New year with the Wilson Wedding (Dayton Ohio Wedding Photographer)

What better way to ring in the new year than with great friends, and a beautiful wedding! Jenna, I was so honored that you allowed me to be apart of your special day by making me part of your bridal party.  I had so much fun with you and the girls, making sure details for the reception were just right and getting all glammed up in your hotel suite.  We cried, we laughed, but most of all we were all able to share your romantic love story through the years. That romantic love story came to this day, the day you promised your heart forever and always to your best friend and soul mate.
We didn't get our usual shots, since both myself and my partner in crime were in the wedding but here are a few candids we got to serve as reminders of a true love story.
All the girls crowded around to help Jenna slide on her beautiful gown made with white lace and detailed beading.
Jenna was just stunning.. no, breath taking!
I just love the detail on the dress!
Jenna made these wonderful place cards which were so cute so I had to pull out the camera!
Love the cake!
The first dance was like a romantic comedy with the kids running around them growling and singing.

Good friends having great times together, you can't make up this stuff. Look at my husbands face!
A romantic kiss at midnight when the ball dropped!

The smallest Klopfenstein ready for his bed.
The smallest Wilson ready to party!
I know we will all have unforgetable memories of New Years Eve 2010 thanks to the Wilson wedding. We love you Jenna and David.
